The Future of Digital Media

If blogging had a Bible, this article featuring Jeff Jarvis, president and creative director of Advance.net, would be a book in it. If you want to see the future, then read this prophecy

BTW, it's the first in a two-month series of articles on the future of digital media being conducted by Ernest Miller.

(This piece covers so much ground I had no clue as to how to even categorize it.)

That's a great interview. Some good thoughts there on how blogging is changing and will continue to change media.

One comment I read there was interesting though, as it mentioned that people thought radio would be like blogging is predicted to become, and it never panned out. It's a valid thing to think about, and just because it's so easy for people to publish themselves, it doesn't mean the quality of the content will be good enough for people to continually read it.
